The University of Sydney and the University of Western Australia both have departments of Asian studies. Sydney's public email contact system wasn't suitable, but I have sent an email to UWA asking for help in communicating with Granat without saying why.

A Canadian university also has an Asian studies department, and a professor there just responded to an email from me. His name suggests that he is from Pakistan, but that doesn't matter. He can refer me to someone else.

The head of Granat is a lawyer. An academic is probably the type of person we are looking for. I suspect that the people we need are just down the street from you - all you have to do is look for them.

Its great someone from Canada even gives a **** about Schapelle. The vast majority of Australians are more interested in whats on television tonight than how much one of their countrymen is suffering. Its a selfish society we live in so kudos to you mate for caring
