When Schapelle was arrested, she stated that had come to Bali to visit her sister and attend her birthday party. She made it quite clear that she would be staying with her sister. If the Bali Police believed that Schapelle was guilty then Schapelle's statements meant that she was taking the marijuana to Mercedes' home. With Schapelle's conviction, the Bali Police had a prima facie case against Mercedes. Why didn't they arrest her? I know but do you?
Is this just more selective incompetence? And how much incompetence does it take before it becomes criminal negligence? It appears that everything the Bali Police did was to prevent investigation or enquiry. They didn't want to know where the drugs came from, they didn't want to know where they were going and they weren't interested in anyone else who may have been involved. And this doesn't make you suspicious? This was the police force that was "highly competent" according to the AFP working with them to track down the bombers. After listening to your arguments it is not unreasonable for me to conclude that you have no understanding of Indonesian libel and slander laws. If you did you would know that if the Corbys were to ever show open support for my views they would all be in an Indonesian prison very quickly. Are you aware of this? Are you aware that Rose did accuse the Bali Police of planting the drugs but was cautioned against repeating this claim by Schapelle's lawyers? The work I have been doing with the Corby support movement is to try to stop the petty web empire building to create a loud and unified voice of support for Schapelle that stretches across many sites so as to permiate the entire web and grow. I have not been working alone in this and I see this site as being a worthy member of the Corby support movement. You obviously think that the Corbys are unaware of me and my views. I will not elaborate on this except to say that I have been posting on all the Corby sites I could find long before Rose's outburst. PMs are wonderful things, aren't they? And if Officer Kuncoro and his boys are reading this, I state categorically that the Corby family have no control over what I say and therefore cannot be held responsible. The fact is that the court case is over along with any pretense that the ABH theory was anything but an overweight nag that could never hope to win the race. What does it tell you that when faced with Schapelle's innocence that was supported with every piece of information we recieved the people turned against her when offered the ABH theory. They didn't believe it. It's a dead horse. You thrashed it and it didn't make it. Bury it already because it is stinking up popular support. I don't have to convince you of anything since it's me that's asking the questions. Why didn't they arrest Mercedes? Why didn't they weigh the luggage? Why did they not want the marijuana tested? Why did they contaminate the fingerprints? Why didn't they search the rest of the luggage? Why did they ignore the cut on the bag? Why would the customs officer lie about the cut in the bag? Why was all this evidence unnecessary yet it was necessary to use deceit to gain a confession? Why were fingerprints unnecessary yet they were happy to get her fingerprints on a bag of narcotics? Why did they use hearsay and lie when there was plenty of evidence at the scene for their taking? Why did all of their 'mistakes' count against Schapelle and none of them count for her? You have to convince me that these questions need not be answered. Since the PIB theory demands that the Bali Police explain these anomalies to a court and gets the investigation the Corbys have been pleading for, it truly stuns me that you are incapable of seeing it. Instead, you are pushing a theory that failed and did nothing to highlight the unfairness of Schapelle's trial. Worse, it supports the right of the Bali Police to be offended by the criminal activities of Australians. So lets call it what it really is: the Bali Police supporter's theory. Finally, by not understanding why Australia turned from 98% support of Schapelle to a 90% belief in her guilt, you are powerless to change it. Last edited by DJ Wolf : 04-19-2007 at 12:05 AM. |

If I smuggle drugs into another country and in that country are my relatives who believe I am holidaying with them.(Who knows whether or not they know about my illegal activities) When I get busted at the airport the authorities may interview my relatives but they certainly couldnt bloody well arrest them mate now could they. Just like there is nothing to suggest that mercedes should have been arrested. Oh the Bali Police had a prima facie case againt mercedes. Well whoopy joke man!!! You have no idea what level of investigation merdeces has undergone. None whatsoever. and then there is the rest of your post. Another few hundfred words about how you are the legal eagle of the world and I have no concept of anything. Infact I can barely construct a sentence. Quote:

If you thing the baggae handler theory has got anything to do with the lack of support for schapelle then you are stupidier than I thought. What about the ex best friend of mercedes that went on national tv and announced that the whole Corby family were huge drug users and international smugglers. You dont think that had anything to do with why people have turned against Schapelle? And that is but one example. There have been thread after thread of very damaging anti Corby material in the media since her sentence. We had the story where her dad smoked a joint 20 years ago. We had the Corbys neighbor story where the guy next door was growing dope. We had the drug smugglers in the picture with Schapelle. These are 4 very very damaging event for Schapelle and her family. You only see what you want to see. I am done responding to you though. Dont expect further reply from me. I am done with you djwolf. I am over your 500 word posts and I am over you. Keep your theory in this thread and this thread only. |

With all due respect DJ Wolf you're mistaken about GRANAT. Unfortunately they didn't "go home the week the Bali 9 were caught". The "CORBY, DRUG DEALERS [sic] MUST DIE!" rally was held after her conviction. They were also in court cheering when Chan and Sukamaran were sentenced to death.

Hi Beesting,
Unfortunately, my hard drive siezed about a year ago and I lost a lot of material. On there was a few relevant documents including the name of the Group that marched through the streets of Jakarta to the Australian Embassy on the 4th of June 2005 a few days after the white powder attacks - it wasn't GRANAT and if you Google the topic you will find that out. The name of the Marchers I can no longer find but it was an acronym that couldn't be pronounced. Having said that, I realise that I could have been mistaken - it could have been within two weeks and for that, I apologise. I have no doubt that GRANAT made a return visit for the Bali 9 ringleader's verdict but I should never have been put in the position where I had to make my point under such battle conditions. It is a fact, that the relentless chanting and the court interruptions did not occur through the Bali 9 trial, only through Schapelle's which was the point I was trying to make. I have pictures of GRANAT chatting and joking with the Bali Police and I believe that they were used by the Bali Police in response to Australia's outcry over her arrest. There are a lot of good people on this site but I am now on the defensive where I will make mistakes and I can't afford that. My reputation is worth something. There's an old saying, 'Convince a man against his will and he will be of the same opinion still' and I'm afraid that this is the case. I'm a Corby supporter and I want support for Schapelle's innocence to grow so the last thing I want to do is to argue with ADMIN. But then the role of ADMIN is to welcome new members, act as an adjudicator of disputes, and to be the invisible hand that gets things done. The moment ADMIN enters a debate, all debate must end since ADMIN is the persona of the site itself and is therefore above question. While Bill, Ben or Bob can have an opinion, ADMIN cannot since arguing with ADMIN creates a negative image and if ADMIN makes a horse's arse of him or herself, it is not Bill or Bob or Ben who suffers, it is the site itself. Whoever the person is that runs this site can have an opinion but the name ADMIN is already taken by a role. This is not difficult or even debatable - it's an admit it or ignore it fact. I would be happy to argue with the persona now calling himself ADMIN if he had the courage to come out from behind the protection of the role but where are we? We are now throwing sand at each other in the sand pit. Apparently, I have to now have to prove that an overpowering smell that was so strong as to cause Schapple to wrinkle up her nose as she described it would be noticed by those in the vicinity. This has become far too petty for me and it is clear that I will never get a fair hearing nor will there be any discussion on the benefits of what I'm discussing. Currently, most supporters on the other sites agree with me and a few are still unsure. I apologise for the long posts, it's one of my many faults but there is no need to reply since I will not be returning. I hope to see many of you out on the net, on the opinion and blog sites, and the other Corby Forums. I don't think SOS is perfect either but it's a case of working with what we have. |

I only joined this forum today and I was eager to see what 'djwolfs theory' was. I will say it is a very long theory and that is really all I can say with any certainty. I am sorry mr wolf but you make a great many claims and if you are going to make alot of claims you must be able to back them up or people wont take you seriously which is I think what has happened here. I dont know how well you are received on other supporter sites but apart from admin nobody really seemed interested here. Are you or arent you able to back up this very serious allegation mr wolf?
