If I grabbed my neighbour, strapped hiw down on my garage work bench, then pumped him full of garden poisons until he was DEAD...that would be classed as MURDER...and I could get the death penalty for that. |

In most countries (also the one you live in), Murder is the unlawful and intentional killing of a human being by another. So most other people refer to this process as a death sentence. And yes if YOU strapped your neighbour to your garden bench and pumped him full of herbicide, there is a 100% chance you would be charged with murder! And if you were charged beyond any reasonable doubt and awarded a death sentence, an the state agrees you would be sentenced you to death by which ever method deemed more appropriate and agreed by the community upheld by law. So lucky you live in Australia, because you would only get life in prison. Unless a relative of the victim caught up with you first! :) |

"Murder" = "Homicide with premeditated and malicious intent". "Homicide" = "the killing of one human being by another". ie: The death penalty.....is murder. Homicide...premeditated. Simple. |

As for plans, If you are the sort of person that kills people first and works out how to fix the problem later then I'd suggest anyones plan would be better than yours. Killing people doesn't stop people from commiting crimes. Some times crimes are a mistake. What does killing the person actually achieve? You will find many families of victims of murder who dont think the perpetrator should be killed for their crimes. How can you therefore conclude it is the best thing? Regardless. We dont support the death penalty on this site. We arent here to argue that. Nor are we here to argue that Schapelle is innocent. We already know she is. |

When someone is dead mate its a bit hard to do anything. What does it achieve? It ensures society that this sick being will never committ an atrocious act again. This is what it achieves. Murder a mistake? When is murder a mistake? Rape a mistake? Paedophilia a mistake? Im sorry parents of little girl, I didnt mean to molest her and then slit her throat in the shopping mall toilets, it was a mistake. http://www.theage.com.au/news/nation...174202009.html Im sorry mother of teenage son, I didnt mean to break your sons jaw and then stab him in the chest severing his aorta whilst looking for a fight in the railway station. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006240558,00.html Many relatives of murdered victims give unanimous approval for the death sentence, so what is your point. OK Admin, your opinion that my idea is a bad one? then here's an alternative plan, we'll stick the offenders in your neighbourhood when they're released. Sound fair? Youre right, this has nothing to do with Schapelles freedom. I was just setting Uluru straight on a few facts from a post he made. |

Oh well that's comforting. As long as they don't make too many mistakes. |
