Stu I couldn't agree more. John Howard has got to be one of the best Prime Ministers this country has had for a very long time. He pulled the country up from the gutter (economically wise) and I think he would be one of the most kindest men you could ever find, so he gets my vote every time.. Dont worry Possum I wont say anything more on the subject, I dont want to start a riot. But I just feel sometimes we have to vent our feelings about our political stance, and hope that Mr Howard gets it right this time.:o

We keep TELLING MR Howard and co we want them to stand up to Indonesia, free Schapelle, stand up to Japan and any other nations trampling all over and laughing at us. They refuse to listen...down the political ladder they go.....plop! Labor soars to 20-year-high in poll Tuesday Mar 20 05:51 AEDT The latest Newspoll shows Labor's primary vote has surged to a 20-year-high of 52 per cent and Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd has opened his strongest lead as preferred prime minister. The Newspoll, conducted for The Australian newspaper at the weekend, also shows Labor has improved on its commanding lead over the coalition on a two party preferred basis - up four percentage points to 61 per cent, compared to the coalition's 39 per cent, down four points from the last poll. Mr Rudd also widened the gap over Prime Minister John Howard as preferred leader, with a four-point jump from the last poll to 49 per cent, compared to a two-point drop for Mr Howard to 36 per cent. .................................................. .................................................. ............ We keep telling the PM that all states in Oz are Labor...that the same people have voted HIM into power as they want STRONG border security, STRONG anti-terrorist immigration policy, STRONG rhetoric and ACTION against those who would harm us, harm our people, harm our tourists overseas who find themselves being unjustly persecuted, and harm our whales. The govt just says "There's nothing we can do"...so down to the bottom of the political heap they go...and out of govt, seemingly. It's all their own fault...self destruction. It's not too late...they still have time to get Schapelle flying into Brisbane a free woman before the election. Pauline Hanson would NOT put up with the nonsense Indonesia has dished out to Schapelle [and therefore us] over her joke trial and sentence....not for one minute. Politicians are the only ones who can get Schapelle out....red-ice 'players', there is only ONE red-ice politician in the country. There COULD be more...if they'd open their minds and listen to the People. |

My earlier post was meant "tongue-in-cheek" so there's no drama at all... and believe me I totally agree with the points you, Stu and janie have made on your political stances... Quote:
