I have just about finished reading your book. I have always believed in your innocence and reading your book confirmed it for me. I think it is great that you are holding up so well in a place like you describe in your book. The horrible hygiene in there sounds terrible. I admire you for the way you treat the other girls in there. I try to imagine myself in your shoes and how I would cope in that jail, I know how hard it would be to adapt to that dirty life when here, in Australia, we take for granted, the clean water and being able to have what we have. I feel so sad that none of your appeals have worked and really hope that the truth will come out or someone will stand up and own up to what they have done. You are very lucky to have such a supportive family. Hope this year can bring you better news. Melb

Welcome Melb.
The hygiene problems in Kerobokan are what one would expect in any Indonesian prison. Some of the Support movement have started looking at fixing some of the sewerage and water related problems in the womens jail. Working through existing networks such as Rotary and organisations in Indonesia. It'll cost us 5 thousand dollars - at the most. But the spanner now in the works is - will Schapelle be transferred? |
