i have been reading shappelle's story her book, so far im up to chapter 11, for the beginning when it all came out on i truely in my heart believed she was innocent, although alot of people i knew thought she was guilty which really ****ed me off we were always constantly debating about it, shappelle darling all i can say from reading ur book darling u do not deserve to be where u are as you said in your book you should be out with your friends surfing, enjoying your life, reading about your cell mates disgusting really it is i dont know how anyone can live with that and i give full credit to you. Shappelle you are a brave and very strong girl to be able to survive this horrible experience god if i was in your shoes i wouldnt be able to cope, you have a loving and supporting family who are doing everything they can to support you, just remember even though you maybe where u are you still have people like myself you will support you and know that you are innocent and darling some advice when u get out, if you are ever proven to be innocent darling i would sue all the way you becoz those bastards deserve it.
Remember stay strong (which you already are) and remember you have alot of support from everyone especially your family.

Hello Kristina and welcome aboard. And yes the book is maddening to read isn't it? She is hanging in there, but the experience is taking a terrible toll on her. Even her hair has turned grey. She dyes it.

Is it C/- LPM Kerobokan?

I've seen several versions of which words go on which lines in that address, and I've written to both (though I do put "Jl." on the 3rd line, since it's the abbreviation for "jalan" - Bahasa for "street"). Apparently my stuff gets through no matter, but I've always wondered if there was an official CORRECT way to write the address.

Hi Hacia, I know the above address works, I did receive a reply and it's the only address I use. And there really is only one Schapelle Corby on the planet. That makes it easier too I guess. :p

Writing to her soon becomes more than a habit, it becomes a pleasure.

Thanks for mentioning that, I never knew what it stood for.

Is she really the only one? Interesting! I'd never heard of Schapelle as a first name, though I've heard of someone with a last name Schappel. Then there's the other person who smiles when I talk about Schapelle since a word pronounced the same means "hat" in French. :)

LOL, you're welcome. I am picking up Bahasa very little by very very little. I was quite proud to find out this one myself. :)
