All drug runners should be held accountable for and go to jail. I believe that if caught drug smuggling, one should do some serious time. In Australia, we do not send smugglers or dealers to their deaths. It irks me some that the Federal Police have decided to take the law into their own hands by wearing judges caps. While they do this, they shun the Australian flag and wear another. While running with the hare (being paid by the Australian public to do their jobs), they hunt with the hounds (giving information to foreign governments about our dirty laundry - Indonesia is a good example). Running with the hare and hunting with the hounds, is quite simply called 'treason'. The person/s who sent these drug runners to their deaths should be put into jail for murder. Yes, they knew fully well that they were sending them to their deaths.
There is no shame or remorse from these officers, just reverence and admiration. The heroes are celebrating the impending deaths of the drug smugglers. I presume big pats on the back, praises and even hints of promotion are abound. I find this immoral and sinister. They do not represent our laws. They are a law unto themselves. They hold Australian laws cheap, they make a mockery out of our laws and ridicule them. They have their own laws, they are freelance mavericks who think that they have diplomatic immunity. How can the Federal Police disenfranchise Australian laws and make up their own?? They evade investigation by threatening to strike. I SAY ENOUGH!! We should investigate them, properly without threats or obstruction. The drug smugglers must know who signed the death warrant for them. As Australian citizens and under the Freedom of Information Act, they must know -----and so should the wary, tired and cynical Australian public. If the Federal Police think the Australian public are too stupid to punish drug smugglers, what is next? Will they think that we are too stupid to deal with some other issues and give them to a foreign power? Will they give blueprints in the luggage of one of our scientists to a foreign power because they think that the Australian public are too stupid to handle the technology??????? Good laundry and bad laundry......................it belongs to us AND NOBODY ELSE. By the way, there was no tip off from the Federal Police with Schapelle Corby................was it an Indonesian baggage handler who spotted the stash?????? Interesting point and one to really get your teeth into!!!! Schapelle is innocent. Her brother was watched and filmed a couple of days ago without being stopped doing some kind of crime (I say some kind of crime for good reason). How can our police force sit, watch, laugh and get off on this. This should be seriously investigated too. |

Yes I agree. The AFP handed the bali 9 on a platter to the Indonesians knowing FULL WELL what would happen to them. They admitted this and now they ar ebackpedalling faster than I dotn know what. Now we see the incredible farce from that IDIOT senior policeman who opened his big mouth to the media and now he too is back pedaling at great speed. These sorts of cops should be held accountable for what they say and do. They are playing games with peoples lives. |
