Default Dear Schapelle,

Dear Schapelle,

Mercedes told Alan Jones in a radio interview recently that "My sister is doing OK".
This was good to hear.
Try to stay calm and peaceful in your mind.....the past is gone...5 minutes ago is history.
Try not to dwell on the past...it can never be changed.
Your immediate future lies in the hands of others.
Try to live in the present...one day at a time.
As you can see from all the supporters at your sites, many people care about you, in Oz, USA, Canada, France and from other countries.
You wrote in your book, on page 92:

"I trembled as Mum hugged me goodbye. But I had to be brave. "I'll be okay, I'll be okay", I whispered.
As I was led away I heard Mum and Merc's voices fading in the distance:

"Love you, Schapelle! Love you! Love you!"
.............

You have a loving family who care for you dearly.
You HAVE been brave, very brave....keep it up, many people are trying to get you out of there.

"Love you, Schapelle! Love you! Love you!"......about sums up the feelings of all your supporters....they are there with you in spirit.

Be proud of yourself for writing your book...it is the best thing you could ever have done.

To use some of the words from "Desiderata":

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Kind regards,
"uluru" and family.
