I think Stu needs to read the book... but that is just my opinion... just to get Schapelle's side of things. See if you think it lacks credibility or not. Kathryn is from the media but was one of the few that believed in Schapelle and gave her a fair go and a chance to convey her story to the public - other media - channel 7 & ABC for instance like to jump of the "Schapelle is guilty, kick her while she's down" bandwagon.

Okeedokee........................let's get real.........not many people are on Ms Corby's side. Why is this? Because they do not want to be connected to drug runners..................in any way, even when they know that she is innocent.

Most people on this site agree that Ms Corby is innocent, bar a small few who think she's guilty but got too many years for her crime.

ACTOR Ralph Fiennes considers himself to have been the victim of a sexual aggressor in an alleged mile-high sex scandal.

Yesterday, the media-shy film star's personal publicist angrily broke a week-long silence from the Fiennes camp to tell the actor's side of an increasingly sordid story.

"She initiated the encounter,'' Ms Keene said, in the first confirmation from the Fiennes camp that an incident did occur.

"This woman seduced him on a plane. She was the sexual aggressor.

High in the sky, in first class, her mind wandered off into romance heaven when she encounted Mr Charm, rich, handsome, famous "US senate hopeful Chris Marshal" who was smitten with "Caroline" from the Park Suite in the movie Maid in Manhattan..."Caroline" being poor Hispanic "Marissa" [Jennifer Lopez], who was trying on the clothes of the rich blonde guest ...the real "Caroline".

Poor Marissa, from the projects in the Bronx, who lived in a 4 block radius her whole life, from the poor side of town, working in a boring job, hoping one day to be a manager, went for a walk in the park with Senatorman, dressed in the rich girl's clothes. He thought she was classy and rich.

Then he couldn't find her again, as she'd then gone back to being the maid.
He asked the nice head butler if he knew her and if he would invite her to the ball....Cinderella stuff.
The nice butler told Marissa if she wanted to be a manager she would have to give up the senator as she'd be found out as only being poor and not rich.

In the morning, she put her sweater on and hurried back home.....but rich Caroline and her obnoxious girlfriend spied the diamonds, Caroline having been at the ball and seen the diamonds, chasing after rich, famous Chris Marshal, to make him her own.
Her obnoxious girlfriend said "that's the maid, where did she get diamonds?"
They checked the security tapes...it all hit the fan.....Marissa was sacked...she was outed as being only a poor Hispanic maid in a boring job.
The rich girls gave it to her in front of the hotel manager etc.
"She steals things, she's a fraud".
Poor Marissa...sacked...there she is...in the park...sitting on the swing crying...poor Marissa, all alone...no job...her life ruined...and a ten yr old son to support.
She eventually got another job as a maid....Chris came to town...he becomes besotted again by the poor girl with the boring job...they fall deeply in love, kiss passionately and live happily ever after...the rich man and poor Marissa.

Commonsense uluru can see clearly what happened.....Lisa thought she was Marissa!

Poor Schapelle, not rich and not with a rich family ... unlike the model.
Poor Schapelle, just like "Marissa", not important enough for our govt/anyone to save from prison.
"Chris Marshal" was like Downer and co...when Marissa stood before the hotel manager, superviser and nasty rich woman....standing alone in the room, being persecuted by those with all the power, he said "is that really necessary"?...but that's all.
As with the actor and Lisa, "he" didn't actually DO anything to save her from persecution and the sack....or Downer DO anything to save Schapelle.

And how long would Miss Howard be in jail in Indonesia in the same situation?
Answer...20 minutes!

ALL Australian girls should be treated exactly the same by our govt.
